What the First Beta Covers
In the Public Beta, making samples and presets is always free, starting with the OP-XY: the Sample Editor and the Drum Tool. Pro adds workflow tools: the Tape Editor for OP-1 Field tapes, and Memos. Try every Pro tool free for 14 days. No sign-up, no card.
Sample Editor
The multisample tool from the web app, rebuilt natively. Always free.
Drum Tool
Build OP-XY drum kits with per-slot settings and waveform trimming. Always free.
Tape Editor (Pro)
Edit OP-1 Field tapes on your computer: browse the takes, edit them and write them back. TP-7 recordings are in beta. Pro.
Memos (Pro)
Drop in a voice recording, TP-7 memos included, and get a searchable transcript made on your computer, with nothing uploaded. Export it as text, Markdown or subtitles.
On the roadmap
Device Browser (Pro)
Browse your OP device from your computer and copy files off it. Each supported device is added as it passes hardware testing.
OP-PatchStudio is an unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Teenage Engineering.

macOS and Windows come first. Linux follows once those two are settled, and iOS and Android come after that.

The web app at op-patch.studio
The browser version got OP-PatchStudio started, and it still does what it always did: build OP-XY drum kits and multisamples in a browser and export a patch you can drop onto the device. It stays free and online for now.
It's still supported and I still fix it. New features go into the desktop app.
