Processing options
Section titled “Processing options”Sample rate & bit depth
Section titled “Sample rate & bit depth”Convert files to different sample rates and bit depths for device compatibility or creative effects.
Export Options
For detailed information about sample rates, bit depths and format options, see the Export Options documentation.
Audio processing
Section titled “Audio processing”- Normalise: Automatically adjust volume to target level (e.g., -3dB, -6dB)
- Trim silence: Remove quiet sections from start and end
- Pitch shift: Transpose all files up or down in semitones
- Fade in/out: Apply smooth fades to all files

- Add prefix or suffix (e.g., “processed_”, “_12bit”)
- Sequential numbering (001, 002, 003…)
- Custom naming templates
Per-File Editor
Section titled “Per-File Editor”Click the pencil icon or the inline waveform on any queue row to open the per-file editor. The editor has two tabs.
Sample tab
Section titled “Sample tab”A waveform editor with the same controls as the Sample Editor. Useful for trimming and looping individual files before they hit the batch.
- Drag start and end markers to trim the sample
- Toggle loop markers and drag them to set a loop region
- Snap to zero crossings for click-free edits
- Zoom and pan the waveform for precise marker placement
- Play the trimmed selection or play with the loop active
- Keyboard shortcuts: P play, L loop, +/- zoom, 0 reset zoom
Settings tab
Section titled “Settings tab”Override the global batch settings for this file only. Helpful when one or two files in the batch need different treatment (different sample rate, custom fades, a unique root note).
- Override sample mode, sample rate, bit depth and channels
- Customise envelope, fades, normalisation and pitch shift
- Set a per-file preset name, prefix or suffix
- Click Reset to Global to discard overrides and inherit the batch settings again
Marker positions and per-file settings are saved when you click Save. If you close the editor with unsaved changes you will be prompted before discarding them.

- Leave headroom: Normalise to -3dB or -6dB, not 0dB, to prevent clipping
- Backup originals: Keep unprocessed versions before applying destructive edits
